This tender concerns a contract for the delivery, implementation, maintenance, support and development of an IT solution to support the National Board of Social Services' administration of their interpretation scheme for citizens with a hearing impairment – the Interpreter Portal.

This tender concerns a contract for the delivery, implementation, maintenance, support and development of an IT solution to support the National Board of Social Services' administration of their interpretation scheme for citizens with a hearing impairment – the Interpreter Portal.

The Danish Social and Housing Authority's current IT solution to support the Interpretation Portal is a customer-specific developed solution that was put into operation in 2011. The solution has since been expanded continuously. Both in basic functionality and in additional/supporting functionality as common public IT solutions have been put into use (e.g. NemID) as well as an app-based sub-solution (the Interpreter app), where the interpreter user can sign for the interpretation task performed and interpreters can see an overview of their own interpreting tasks.

The functionality of the current solution largely covers the current needs of the user groups and the stability/availability is high for the solution, but contains a number of limitations, which it is hoped that the offered IT solution to support the Interpreter Portal can address:

New functionality needed: Support for extended functionality is needed.

Security: There have been a number of stricter requirements for security, data protection and separation of functions from different sides, which it is considered difficult and disproportionately costly to adapt the current solution to meet.

Architecture: There is a need for a flexible solution that minimizes the costs incurred by the Social and Housing Authority by expanding functionality and supporting other areas of responsibility.

Ownership as a system owner: There is a need for the Danish Social and Housing Authority, with an IT solution to support the Interpretation Portal, to be able to transfer and further develop this in a simple way. in cooperation with a new supplier after the end of the contract.

The annual total volume is estimated at DKK 1,700,000 excl. VAT, with a total estimated value of DKK 12,500,0000 (incl. options). Volume is only indicative and based on historical figures, which is why they cannot be taken as an indication of a guaranteed future turnover size.
