The project "V1033 EVA Anergieerschließung Altstetten Ost und West" includes the construction of a pipeline tunnel to connect the districts with district heating. The tunnel and the shafts connect energy centres in Zurich Altstetten North, East and West (Vulkanstrasse, Im Herrlig and Rautistrasse locations) and ensure the transport of energy and electricity.
The project with the no. 904 "EV-Altstetten Anergy Development, Special Foundation Engineering" includes the main work BAU. These include the following work:
- Creation of 3 excavation pits (starting pit, 2x excavation pits for target shafts)
- Construction of the target shafts (in-situ concrete construction)
- 2 x D 2400/3000 microtunnelling tunnels (length 1053 m and 726 m, slurry TBM with pressure lock)
- Installation of a concrete base and drainage channel in the tunnel
- Construction of the shaft in the starting pit (in-situ concrete construction)
