Partick Housing Association Ltd. is a not for profit social housing provider and is a registered social landlord based in the west side of Glasgow.

It is the Association's intention to enter into a three Year Contract with a suitable contractor to carry out common area water testing and remedial works to all our factored properties. The work will be carried out in accordance with L8 Regulations — The Approved Code of Practice for the Control and Prevention of Legionella in Water Systems and include the following:

— Survey site common area water services;

— Carry out full L8 Water System Risk Assessments;

— Provide electronic Web based report including photographs and Schematics;

— Attend meeting to discuss findings;

— Carry out remedial works identified in the Risk Assessment.

The approximate number of properties involved in the contract is 300. These comprise mainly of traditional tenement flats. Access to water tanks will be from common landing areas.

The contract is to be let for a period of three years subject to satisfactory performance against published Key performance Indicators.

It is envisaged the initial contract will commence circa the 1.12.2013.
