The Department for Transport is looking for experienced DfT certified aviation security trainers and their respective organisations, or trainers and their organisations in the process of being certified, to plan, deliver and evaluate a variety of aviation security training courses overseas. Our initial estimate is for the delivery of around 28 training courses of differing types in the first year of the 2 year period of the contract, throughout Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and on rare occasions in the UK. Training suppliers will be expected to deliver the training courses in a variety of environments (some of which may be challenging), mostly within training facilities (with very basic facilities) but also within working airport environments giving practical advice and mentoring.
