Oslo Municipality, c/o the Nursing Home Agency, has received an order from the Agency for Fire and Rescue Services for the development of a preliminary project for Sentrum fire station on an undeveloped site A2 (cadastral No 207, title no. 463) in Bjørvika.
Sentrum fire station is to be built as a consequence of the current Main fire station having to be vacated due to the start-up of work on the new government quarter. The plan is based on the move happening by the end of June 2023 at the latest, and that the new Sentrum fire station must be operative at the latest from this date.
The assignment includes a turnkey contract for the construction of the new Sentrum fire station with completion by 9 December 2022 at the latest.
