The purpose of the assignment is to investigate the reasons for, and consequences of, women and children being detained and left behind in other countries, and to propose preventive measures. This will result in one written report that will describe the results and methods of the investigation.

The time frame of the contract is from contract signing to the presentation of the final report by 15 December 2023, and has a combined frame of NOK 2 million, excluding VAT. The estimated value is not binding for the contracting authority.
