The new construction of the Germersheim fire brigade externally represents an elongated, compact cube in which the various uses are housed. Basic building data: External dimensions: approx. 95 mx 30 mx 7.6 m, usable area: 2 472.10 m
Except for the steel supports in the foyer, the load-bearing structure consists of reinforced concrete (walls, supports, ceilings). Columns or walls are arranged along the longitudinal facades and in the center of the building in a grid of 4.5 m. Semi-precast beams are placed on the supports in the transverse direction of the building. Between the beams planned at a distance of approx.4.5 m, a flat ceiling made of uniaxially exciting semi-finished slab ceilings with an in-situ concrete supplement on the top is stretched.
