Markbygden Net (MBN) cordially invites interested parties to apply for qualification to tender for a contract for the design, manufacture, supply and installation of one large transformer with 3 limbs, to be installed at the Råbäcken substation, located outside Piteå in northern Sweden. MBN’s grid connects local wind farms onto the national grid. MBN is currently planning to expand its grid to be able to connect more wind power production onto the national grid. This tender is part of that expansion.

MBN intends that the tendered transformer is to be delivered to site not before September 2020 but no later than at the end of April 2021. Contract award is scheduled for October 2019.

Firstly, interested parties apply for qualification to bid for the contract. Thereafter MBN will invite all applicants who fulfil the qualification criteria to bid for the contract. Only qualified tenderers from the first stage may bid for the tendered contract.
