This agreement is intended to appoint a leasing company for the provision of a lease bike to the employees of the municipality of Merelbeke, the OCMW Merelbeke and the welfare association Zorgband Leie en Schelde, as well as for the management of the bicycle park.

It is assumed that a percentage of 15% of the staff members who will join a bicycle lease. Out of a total staff of approximately 1,000 staff members (municipality and OCMW Merelbeke: approx. 200 staff members, Zorgband Leie and Schelde: approx. 800 staff members), this is 150 staff members.
