The objective of this open call for tenders (monthly energy statistics) is to provide the Commission support for the treatment of the questionnaires mentioned in Annexes C and D of Regulation (EC) No 1099/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council on energy statistics (which concern the monthly and short-term energy statistics), to support Eurostat in monitoring the quality of the monthly and short-term monthly data received and in disseminating it through various means (such as — but not limited to — the online public database, the ‘Statistics explained’ articles, news releases, statistical publications, etc.).

The total volume of the work for the entire contract period is estimated to cover approximately:

480 person-days per year at the level of junior statistician or statistician;

20 person-days per year at the level of senior statistician or energy expert.

The estimated total value is 500 000 EUR for the entire duration of the contract (48 months).
