Conversion and expansion of the former US military hospital in Berlin Lichterfelde into the FUBIC innovation center.
The building is centrally located as a free-standing large structure with a base of approx. 60m x 120m on a development site of approx. five hectares. It has two basement floors and six above-ground full floors (ground floor - 5th floor). The upper floors are designed as blocks with dimensions of 20 x 118 m.
The installation of the power center includes:
4 pieces of ice energy storage per 125 m3,
2 heat pumps each with a heating capacity of 600 kW or a cooling capacity of 470 kW,
8 dry coolers each 180 kW,
1 St Steuerungszentrale (Energiemanager),
900 m steel pipe DN15 - DN300 with insulation,
8 pcs pumps,
2 pcs heat exchangers (1.1 MW or 1.4 MW),
6 buffer tanks per 6000 litres
