With this assignment, the City of Mechelen wishes to purchase a new management application that can better meet the needs of all stakeholders.

This concerns the board and its representatives, employees, the local police zone, ... but especially its external customers: Burgers.

The interested parties expect increasingly efficient and effective services and we want to better meet this with a new application.

For employees, this expectation is expressed in one easily accessible application or uniform interface in order to enable maximum uptime.

For citizens, the expectation is in line with the digital service strategy of the Flemish Government and the City of Mechelen wishes to focus strongly on the use of the Flemish building blocks provided by Digital Flanders.

The solution offered must at all times comply with the general instructions determined by the Federal Public Services in the field of Civil Affairs.

It can easily integrate into the existing architecture and with current applications by starting from an open data and API philosophy with sufficient interoperability.
