The municipality of Zaanstad wishes to conclude an agreement for the maintenance of element pavement.

The work mainly consists of:

- Breaking up pavement incl. confinements;

- Application of element pavement including confinements, with reuse of the released materials and / or new material;

- Removing, replacing and or installing sewer house and pump connections;

- Removing, replacing and/or installing vertical connections;

- Performing groundwork;

- Taking temporary traffic measures;

- Digging of test trenches;

- Preparation of partial assignments;

- Omgevingsmanagement;

- Closed pavements, natural stone pavements and semi-pavements.

The expected expenditure with regard to reconstructions and major maintenance (complete redesigns) of the Engineering Office amounts to approximately € 1,500,000 per year. The expected expenditure with regard to daily maintenance (minor damage repair) by the City Management & Maintenance departments amounts to approximately € 1,200,000. The estimated contract value is therefore approximately € 2,700,000 per year.
