The Deggendorf Water Management Office is carrying out structural improvement measures on the lower Isar between Plattling and the mouth of the Danube.

The aim of these measures is to renaturalise the floodplain landscape and improve the bottom stability of the river.

It is planned to start the "Angergries" measure in February/March 2023.

For this purpose, landings (flood sediments) and raised bank edges are removed on the right side of the Isar.

Subsequently, a river profile is excavated and modelled.

The existing riverside path will be prepared in advance as a construction road. It will be gradually dismantled and removed in the course of the removal work.

25,000 m3 loading, transport and recycling of topsoil and excavated soil (classification Z0);

400 hours hydraulic excavator 24 to 26 t chain with various attachments (2 excavators per 200 hours);

160 hours truck 4-axle.
