Fortum Power and Heat Oy is planning to implement an air-to-water heat pump (AWHP) plant to Vermo (Espoo, Finland). The AWHP plant will produce appr. 10 MW heating and appr. 8 MW cooling to Fortum’s district heating (DH) and cooling (DC) networks. The plant will be located in Vermo on the plot which has already Fortum’s heating plant.

The AWHP plant will have two different kind of heat pumps:

Pos 1. Outdoor installed heat pumps which take heat from the outside air and supply heat to an intermediate liquid network.

Pos 2. Indoor installed heat pumps which take heat from the plants intermediate liquid network and supply heat to the DH network.

Fortum is now looking for suppliers for the heat pumps. This RFI concerns the Pos 2. Indoor installed heat pumps. A separate, similar RFI is released for the Pos 1. Outdoor installed heat pumps.
