About Dramaten
The Royal Dramatic Theatre, better known as the Royal Dramatic Theatre, is Sweden's national stage. The theatre operates on the basis of a commission from the government, which means, among other things, that the theatre shall both manage theatre history and work for the development of theatre art. At Dramaten, classics, newly written theatre and theatre for children and young people are played. The theatre is 100 percent owned by the Swedish state. CEO is Maria Groop Russel, Theatre Manager Mattias Andersson.
The theatre building at Nybroplan has been home to the Royal Dramatic Theatre since 1908, and houses four stages. The largest, the Main Stage, can accommodate up to 770 visitors. Directly adjacent to the building at Nybroplan, on Almlöfsgatan behind, is the Small Stage.
At Dramaten, about 230 permanent employees work and in addition to that, during one (1) year there can be up to 300-400 people in different forms of employment with different lengths of employment. There are about 55 different professional roles, examples of different professions are carpenter, blacksmith, upholsterer, stage technician, actor, communicator, tailor, dresser, make-up etc.
The theatre and workshop activities are basically completely down from midsummer to the first of August. However, other activities continue as usual

Booking of air, train, bus and boat trips, both domestic and international.
Booking of connecting transport to airport/train/bus station, both domestic and international.
Booking of rental of vehicles, both domestic and international.
Booking of hotel rooms, both domestic and international.
