The Authority intends to appoint a Framework Supplier for the provision of biomass fuel (wood pellet) to two of our extra care schemes. The Framework Agreement will be let on a 2 (+1) (+1) year basis.

All biomass fuel provided shall be certified as EN plus A1 standard.

If during the life of the Framework Agreement further biomass boilers are commissioned on behalf of the Authority then the Framework shall be extended to the additional sites only on the expressed permission of the Authority.

The Authority is a member of a consortium of other Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) operating in the South Wales area. The current members of the Gorwel Consortium are Grwp Gwalia Cyf, Family Housing (Wales) Ltd, Pembrokeshire Housing, Tai Bro Myrddin and Tai Cantref. Organisations within the Gorwel Consortium other than Grwp Gwalia Cyf may make use of this Framework Agreement only on the written agreement of both Grwp Gwalia Cyf and the Framework Supplier.
