General renovation of the Pater Lunkenbein School in Ebensfeld with the creation of a day care center.
As part of a feasibility study, which was enclosed with the tender documents for informational purposes only (Annex 1), the structural measures that are likely to be necessary were roughly determined. However, the following list is not binding for the later contractor and only serves to provide the participants / bidders with comprehensive information about the current state of knowledge of the awarding authority.
The main points of the general renovation are among others:
- Structural fire protection,
- energetic renovation of the building envelope (facades, perimeter, roof),
- accessibility,
- Reconstruction and adaptation of the building to a new room and functional program from an educational point of view,
- Refurbishment of the technical building equipment with modernization of the technical infrastructure,
- adaptation of the outdoor facilities,
- Completion of the equipment.
Apparently the interior of the U-shaped school building is in good condition.
High-quality and easy-care material components such as exposed brickwork and stone floors in hallways underline the properties of solid construction, which are usually easy to conserve. The room structure and floor plan correspond to the pattern of the corridor school, but still offer potential for renovations with the aim of making lessons more flexible.
The task for the participants / bidders in the case of commissioning is to design a future-proof school with after-school care center that meets the current requirements of modern school construction and is subject to a coherent overall concept in educational and architectural terms.
The subject of the order to be awarded within the framework of this procedure is the structural design.
