The Association of North East Councils Ltd trading as NEPO is inviting tenders for organisations to participate in a maximum 60 month pseudo dynamic purchasing system for translation and interpreting services to provide a compliant route to market for both planned and unplanned requirements related to the provision of translation and interpreting services for those members of public for whom English is not their first language. The Agreement will be made available to all members and associate members of NEPO including local authorities and other contracting authorities located in the United Kingdom. Lot 1: Regional face to face foreign language interpreting.
Lot 1 will cover the provision of interpreting professionals required in a face to face setting within the North East Region of England. Settings may include, but will not be limited to:
— local authority offices,
— medical appointments,
— police station/courts,
— service users' homes,
— other neutral settings.
Services may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and providers must ensure they can comply with this requirement.
Lot 2 covers the provision of interpreting professionals via telephone.
Services may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and providers must ensure that they can comply with this requirement.
Lot 3 covers the provision of written and braille translation services. Transcription services will also be included within this lot.
