Description:
Charter a vessel with a crew to make two voyages to Svalbard in 2023

The subject of the contract is the charter of a vessel with a crew for two voyages to Svalbard in 2023, including:

1) transport of persons and cargo along the route: any seaport in the territory of the Republic of Poland — Svalbard — any seaport in the territory of the Republic of Poland;

2) transporting people and cargo on local routes in the territory of Svalbard.

1. The subject of the contract is the charter of a vessel with crew for two voyages to Svalbard in 2023, including:

1) transport of persons and cargo on the route: any seaport on the territory of the Republic of Poland – Svalbard – any seaport on the territory of the Republic of Poland;

2) transport of persons and cargo on local routes within the territory of Svalbard.

2. Planned dates and duration of flights:

1) Cruise I: June 2023 – about 23 days;

2) Cruise II: August/September 2023 – about 26 days.

Detailed routes and schedules of individual cruises will be subject to negotiations with the Contractors.

3. The contract must be fulfilled by means of a watercraft meeting the following requirements:

1) ice class (sign of ice reinforcements): not lower than L2 according to the classification of the Polish Register of Shipping (or equivalent ice class according to the classifications adopted in other countries);

2. compliance with the current requirements for navigation in the waters of Svalbard;

3) having at least 18 seats at the disposal of the Ordering Party for the transport of people during each of the cruises;

4) having tanks enabling the transport of at least 70,000 liters of diesel fuel, left at the disposal of the Ordering Party;

5) the possibility of transporting (at the disposal of the Ordering Party) at least 150 m3 of cargo during each of the cruises, including:

(a) closed hold: at least 100 m3;

(b) refrigeration chamber: at least 5 m3;

(c) deep-freezing chamber: at least 3 m3;

6) possibility of transport:

(a) a 10-foot container;

b) The Ordering Party's tanks with 5,000 liters of gasoline;

7. having facilities for loading/unloading and transhipment on the high seas (including a lift with a maximum load capacity of at least 2,5 tonnes);

8) having a transport boat with crew on the ship's equipment.

4. Pursuant to Article 95(1) of the Act, the Contracting Authority requires that activities falling within the responsibilities of persons included in the necessary crew of the ship be performed by persons employed by the Contractor or subcontractor on the basis of an employment contract within the meaning of Article 22 § 1 of the Act of 26 June 1974 – Labour Code (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 1162) taking into account the minimum remuneration for work determined on the basis of the Act of 10 October 2002 on the minimum wage for work (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 2207), throughout the entire period of the contract.
