The procurement, pursuant to which this invitation to tender (‘Invitation to Tender’) is issued, is for the award of a contract for the supply of Class II microbiological safety cabinets (the ‘Product’) for the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service at the new National Centre, based at Heriot-Watt Research Park, Edinburgh (SNBTS) and is being undertaken by the Common Services Agency (more commonly known as NHS National Services Scotland) (‘the Authority’).

There is a requirement for the following class II microbiological safety cabinets (MSC):

Code CAB972 Class II microbiological safety cabinet — qty 2.

Code CAB973 Class II microbiological safety cabinet, 1 200 mm — qty 2.

Code CAB973A Class II microbiological safety cabinet, 1 800 mm — qty 6.

Please note that that all the cabinets will be awarded to a single bidder.
