The contracting authority is a registered social landlord responsible for the management of approximately 52 000 tenanted homes. The contracting authority proposes to procure a contract or contracts for the demolition of the Red Road Multi Storey Flats within the Glasgow area covering 6 blocks (720 units). The blocks are 31 storey high, steel framed structures with a significant amount of asbestos. The asbestos issue is both internal and external.

The works will comprise of Building demolition and wrecking work, earth moving work. Demolition, site preparation and clearance work.
