WCHG has a requirement for a new asbestos contract, incorporating asbestos surveys, testing/analysis, and asbestos removal. The contract will run for a period of 2 years, with an option to extend for 2 further 12-month periods, subject to satisfactory performances and annual review.

— asbestos management surveys of communal areas,

— full demolition and refurbishment surveys of void properties,

— full demolition and refurbishment surveys of programmed works, including kitchens and bathrooms, including textured coatings, pads and boxing,

— risk assessments and prioritisation regarding the likelihood of the ACM’s actually being disturbed and exposing employees, residents and other persons,

— preparation of a management plan to manage the risk.

— clearance certification,

— reassurance testing,

— compliance monitoring,

— assessment of suitability respirator protection,

— asbestos monitoring,

— provision of analysts,

— sampling of potential asbestos materials,

— preparation of specifications relating to asbestos, etc.

— total particle monitoring of both personnel and backgrounds,

— provision of equipment for particle monitoring,

— issue of report on particle monitoring.
