The Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire wishes to commission new ISVA and support services for victims and survivors of sexual violence and abuse living in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
The aim of the ISVA services is to enable victims and survivors to cope with the effects of sexual assault and rape and to recover from the harm they have experienced. The services are distinct from counselling, which is provided separately. The ISVA services will provide casework, information, advice, practical coping strategies and emotional support. They will also provide advocacy for survivors to enable their access to services such as housing, immigration, welfare benefits, education and physical wellbeing.
