Consulting and planning services for fire protection (with explosion protection) for the new construction project HYKOS at the ISE in Freiburg

The planned new building is a research building for the development of hydrogen technologies and fuel cell technology. A special feature here is the high quantities of hydrogen for a research company, which are processed in the building in suitable processes.

A canteen area for the entire campus with a capacity for approx. 750 meals per day as well as a conference centre for use on the ISE campus are to be attached.

The services cover all service phases, and the call-off takes place in two stages (level 1: LPh 2-4 / level 2: LPh 5-8).

The catalogue of services includes all consulting and planning services necessary for the construction of a building that complies with fire protection regulations. A special feature of this project is the high requirements for explosion protection, which are to be integrated directly into the fire protection planning in the course of the service provision.

The work on the project is carried out in close cooperation with the planning team consisting of architects, HVAC and ELT specialist planners and other technical participants as well as the user and the client.

Optional:

It is expected that another building directly adjacent to the new building will be erected on the site. It can therefore be assumed that, in addition to the purely functional one, there will also be a spatial connection between the two buildings. The planning "core" team should therefore be reassigned if necessary to ensure consistency in planning and execution.
