The contracting authority intends to enter into parallel framework agreements with up to 3 tenderers in ranked order or priority for the procurement and delivery of architect services within the following fields: ARK (architect), LARK (landscape architect), and IARK (interior architect).

The architect services will include assistance with carrying out relevant investment and maintenance projects during the framework agreement. The projects will include architect services for new buildings and renovations.

The project portfolio will be varied and will consist of both large and small projects. An architect will normally be contracted early in a project, preferably in the initiation phase, in order to follow the project through all the phases in the project, from the start-up to completion and the guarantee follow-up. The number and scope of the architect assignments in the framework agreement period will depend on approved investment budgets. The budgets always depend on the annual grants and can, thus, vary from year to year in the framework agreement period.

The architect services will also include assistance with development assignments that are not directly connected to a specific construction project. Examples thereof are project co-ordination or project development where the tenderer is given the paramount liability for several projects or special projects within the following fields: ARK (Architect), LARK (Landscape Architect), and IARK (Interior Architect).
