Bioforsk is a research institute with expertise at a high international level within agriculture, food production, plant health, the environment and resource management. Bioforsk also focuses on research based innovation and value creation. Sustainable resource use is a fundamental premise. Bioforsk has 7 research centres with approx. 450 employees and departments nationwide. Bioforsk, hereafter called the contracting authority, is organised under Landbruks- og matdepartementet (LMD) as an administrative body with special authority.

Bioforsk operates 2 canteens at Ås in Akershus. Bioforsk would like to enter into a framework agreement for all procurements of fruit and vegetables for the operation of the canteens. The canteens have slightly different requirements, but it has been decided to run this as a single procurement. Tenderer must be a full-range supplier for this type of delivery, and shall have a broad product range to offer the Contracting Authority.
