Recurring work on the official, continuous emission measurements, including the required, recurring measurements for pollutants at the emission sources in the MHKW Darmstadt.
In the MHKW Darmstadt, recurring work on the official emission measurements, as well as individual measurements and other measurements that are required by the approval notice, must be carried out.
The legal requirements for the implementation of these measurement and control activities are to be applied in full (BImSchG, BImSchV, federal uniform practice).
1) Function test (AST, annually) and calibration (QAL2, annually) according to DIN 14181 and VDI 3950 of the continuous emission measuring devices (measurements: dust from Sigrist, Stackguard-Sigar 2; mercury measurement from Sick, Mercem 300 ; Multi-component measurement from ABB, Cemas FTIR NT and exhaust gas boundary conditions (vol, temp, pressure) in clean gas;
2) Emission measurements (annually) in clean gas in accordance with 17. BImSchV and plan approval or approval notice;
3) Function test of the electronic evaluation device according to VDI 3950 (time-delayed parameterization after calibration);
4) Functional control of the in-house continuous emission measuring devices according to DIN EN 14181 in the raw gas after boiler (CO, SO2 and O2) and after washer (Hg);
5) ongoing quality assurance of the continuous emission measuring devices for gaseous measuring objects according to DIN EN 14181 (QAL3) in the raw gas, in the clean gas and after scrubber. This work is done every six months;
6) Functional test (annually) without comparative measurements and 3 yearly calibration of the measuring device for the minimum temperature in the afterburning zone of the boilers according to 17. BImSchV and the guideline for the nationwide practice in the monitoring of emissions (BMUB circular dated January 23, 2017.
It must be taken into account that the comparison and emission measurements on the combustion lines cannot necessarily be carried out at the same time;
7) Short-term support for special measurements or carrying out measurement campaigns in special plant conditions. This always means measurements for flue gas-borne pollutants or volume flows. The measurements cannot be planned, but may have to be carried out at short notice (on the following working day) for operational reasons.
