The primary school Höfingen was built in several construction phases. The main building consists of the "old building" (south side) and was built in 1960 as a two-storey school building. This part of the building was then extended in 1980 to the north with a wing and a central connecting hall "Marktplatz".

The aim of the measure is the fundamental energy-efficient renovation of the entire building envelope of the main building, taking into account the requirements for the energy efficiency of buildings and fulfilling the photovoltaic obligation of the state of Baden-Württemberg.

The work is to take place during ongoing school operations. Pollutants caused by construction time must be expected.
