The general objective of this project is to contribute to the improvement of quality of life in participating Chinese and Indian cities. This will be done through the establishment of a mechanism for knowledge exchange among cities on specific thematic areas.

Specific objectives of the project will be the definition of pilot areas for demonstration purposes and the identification and development of concrete actions or programmes that each Chinese and Indian city can implement in the short term and open up related new market opportunities for European companies.
