DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH intends to conclude a service contract for the provision of maintenance services for the Cisco infrastructures and their components in use at DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH (hereinafter referred to as DFS), as well as the supply of Cisco hardware components for the maintenance of the existing Cisco networks. For a more detailed description of the services advertised – see section II.2.4.
The current Cisco infrastructure is as follows: DFS operates branches with network infrastructures at 17 locations within Germany (Hamburg, Bremen, Münster/Osnabrück, Hanover, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, Leipzig, Erfurt, Dresden, Frankfurt, Langen, Saarbrücken, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Munich). In addition to these branches, there are also 120 remote sites attached.
In the future, further locations within the network may be added. The network infrastructures consist of a total of approximately 1,300 active Cisco components. The Cisco components are divided into approx. 850 switches and approx. 450 routers.
The following product groups are spread across the 17 DFS sites: ASR1K, ASR9K, ISR4K, Catalyst 6K and 9K, WLAN 9K.
The following product groups are only available in lengths: Nexus, ACI, DNA-Center, ISE, EPNM.
All networks are technically interconnected.
The service contract includes in particular the provision of the following deliveries and services:
-Restoration of operational readiness (troubleshooting) associated with the delivery and implementation / installation of hardware and software for error or problem elimination,
-Fulfillment of response and recovery times, associated with a response time via remote maintenance access (differentiated for each location, starting from 60 minutes), a response time for an on-site deployment (differentiated for each location, starting from 4 hours)
-the provision of access to a ticket system for the opening and follow-up of fault reports,
-hotline, on-call service associated with the provision of a central service reception (availability up to 24 hours / 365 days),
-Maintaining operational readiness (preventive measures)
-Provision of new program versions, associated with the delivery of general software updates (e.g. to eliminate security gaps)
-On-site service
-Spare parts supply and thus ensuring a nationwide supply of spare parts for all components located within the networks
- Delivery of new / additional Cisco hardware components for the maintenance and expansion of the networks.
-Support in the operation of the networks, with regard to questions of configuration and troubleshooting
-Creation of network designs including detailed planning, due to new requirements in DFS, as well as support during implementation
- Verification and testing of network solutions
- The service provider acts as an interface to the manufacturer Cisco in order to create, maintain and, if necessary, escalate fault tickets.
-Preparation of documentation as well as continuous reporting on maintenance services carried out.
