In connection with the engineering design and construction of the Urban Rail's building phase 4 from Sentrum (down town) to Fyllingsdalen, framework agreements shall be established for hourly services of Project and Construction Management, Engineering Design etc. Through the agreement, Bybanen Utbygging [Urban Rail Development] is given access to extra resources in addition to those internal resources in the organisation available at any given time, as well as access to order individual engineering design and consultancy assignments.

There will be a major need for services under the framework agreement during the agreement period. Bybanen Utbygging need specialist competence, primarily in the following disciplines:

— Ground works for roads and tunnels,

— Concrete structures,

— Water and Sewage,

— Construction engineering and construction,

— Electrical works,

— Management systems,

— Radio communications,

— Following up of surveying certificates,

— Surveying,

— Railway engineering,

— Landscape,

— Traffic engineering,

— Outer environment.

The Contracting Authority will, in addition to the project and construction management, also have a need for assistance with engineering design, engineering design support, quality systems an SHA coordination.
