The agreement covers the areas of electricity supplier and balance sheet manager for the tapering duty cf. Section 52 (1) of the VE Act and as a power supplier for the remover on market conditions, cf. Section 52 (4) of the VE Act, as well as as a power provider for the balance sheet, referred to in Section 50 — 51 of the System Responsibility Ordinance. The plants in question may be clean production facilities and both hourly and annual net self-producers, where production must be sold under the downstream or balance sheet.

The supplier shall carry out the role of electricity supplier and balance sheet manager for the remover duty, cf. Section 52 (1) of the VE Act and as a power supplier for the remover on market conditions, cf. Section 52 (4) of the VE Act, as well as as a power provider for the balance sheet, referred to in Section 50 — 51 of the System Responsibility Ordinance.
