The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services to the following EMLC Academy Trust schools:
— Northampton International Academy;
— Castle Academy;
— Hardingstone Academy.
The contract covers the scope for the provision of all catering and vending services within the Academies, which also includes all hospitality and free issue requirements.
The duration of the contract being offered is three years commencing on 1.8.2016 and concluding on 31.7.2019.
The contract being offered within this tender will be based on a guaranteed performance basis with all free issue requirements and hospitality being recharged on consumption at ‘net’ food cost only.
EMLC Academy Trust was incorporated in July 2012 for the purpose of establishing, maintaining, managing and developing academies and free schools as world class centres of excellence.

EMLC Academy Trust currently sponsors five primary academies and one secondary academy, with an all-through free school due to open in September 2016.
By 2019, EMLC Academy Trust aims to be sponsoring between 12-15 open academies.
Northampton International Academy
Northampton International Academy will join EMLC Academy Trust in September 2016 when it opens its doors for the very first time to Reception and Year 7 pupils.
Northampton International Academy (NIA) ~ the 30 000 000 GBP development which is the country's largest ever school conversion, transforming a derelict Royal Mail sorting office in the town centre into a state-of-the-art 21st century school.
NIA will be an all-through free school for pupils aged from 4 to 19 years. It will eventually grow by 2022 to take in 2 220 pupils. This will be made up of 420 primary, 1 500 secondary and 300 pupils over the age of 16.
The new academy will open its doors in September 2016 with up to 60 pupils entering the primary phase in Reception class and 300 pupils entering the secondary phase in Year 7.
Castle Academy
Castle Academy is a primary academy for 3–11 year old pupils in central Northampton. It joined the EMLC Academy Trust in January 2014.
Castle Academy currently has 523 pupils on roll.

Hardingstone Academy
Hardingstone Academy is a primary academy for 4–11 year old pupils in Northampton. It joined the EMLC Academy Trust in January 2014.
Hardingstone Academy currently has 219 pupils on roll.
Current cost of catering: 40 869 GBP per annum.
