With this call for tenders, the district of Minden-Lübbecke intends to transfer the obligation to dispose of animal by-products pursuant to Section 3 (3) TierNebG to a private waste disposal company by way of mortgaging. The disposal obligation covers the collection, collection, transport, storage, treatment, processing and disposal of animal by-products. This mainly concerns animals that have died and stillborn on farms in the district, by-products of categories 1 and 2 arising from the slaughter of animals within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No. 1069/2009 and dead pets from veterinary practices, households, animal shelters, etc. Approximately 13,750 tonnes of animal by-products have to be disposed of annually.
LOT 1 - Agricultural holdingsCollection, collection, transport, weight collection, storage, handling, processing and disposal of animal by-products of category 1 within the meaning of Article 8 and category 2 within the meaning of Article 9 of Regulation (EC) No 1069/2009, the TIerNebG and the AG TierGesG TierNebG NRW of carcasses of livestock that died or stillborn on the holding. The animal by-products are provided as individual bodies or in collection containers at the sources of generation available in the district, here with a focus on farms.
THE 2 - SchlachtbetriebeCollection, collection, transport, weight collection, storage, handling, processing and disposal of Category 1 animal by-products within the meaning of Article 8 and Category 2 within the meaning of Article 9 of Regulation (EC) No 1069/2009, the TierNebG and the AG TierGesG TierNebG NRW. The animal by-products are provided as individual bodies or in collection containers at the sources of generation available in the district, here in the focus on slaughterhouses and farms in which home slaughter is carried out.
LOT 3 - Other pick-up pointsCollection, collection, transport, storage, handling, processing and disposal of Category 1 animal by-products within the meaning of Article 8 and Category 2 within the meaning of Article 9 of Regulation (EC) No 1069/2009, the TierNebG and the AG TierGesG TierNebG NRW. The animal by-products are provided as individual bodies or in collection containers at the collection points available in the district, here with a focus on other collection points such as veterinary practices, animal shelters, zoos, road maintenance departments, laboratories, private animal owners, enclosures, etc.
