Conduct a comprehensive market landscape study of the renewable energy sector, analysing the gaps in on-grid support and both (i) gaps and (ii) current market situation for off-grid, this will cover current EEP-SEA

countries plus Malawi and Zimbabwe and include an assessment of available financing and key market gaps and barriers. The study should 1) result in a standalone product that reaches a broader audience of donors working in the energy space; and 2) serve to revalidate and/or reposition the EEP-SEA market niche/value proposition, taking stock of the full landscape of donor facilities as well as foundations and private sector commercial financing.
