The municipality of Padasjoki will put out to tender the school transport routes arranged by the municipality for approximately 100 transport students and the service shifts to the side villages. As a rule, school transports take place within the municipality of Padasjoki, with the exception of one route. School transport is used by pre-primary and basic education pupils in the municipality of Padasjoki and occasionally by upper secondary school students. School transport is open to all.

The service shifts are run according to the established schedule, each route is run once a week in the morning between 9 am and 11.30 am. The service shifts are run only as needed on the call taxi principle, i.e. the customer notifies the operator of their need for a ride the day before.

The contract period begins on 1.8.2023 and ends on 31.7.2025 and possible option periods (1+1) -2026 and -2027, unless otherwise stated in the details of the object (Appendix 1, transport routes). The subscriber may not exercise the option periods.

The procurement is divided into sub-areas by route, there are a total of eleven (11) routes, of which five (5) are school transport routes and six (6) service routes. The provider may provide transport services to one or more routes at once. One service provider is selected for each route, with whom the contract is concluded. The routes are as follows:

1. Route 1. Nyystölä (highway 24)-Maakeski-Nyystölä-Padasjoki

2. Route 2: Autatoinen -Arrakoski -Kaukela- Arrakoski- Padasjoki

3. Route 3: Padasjoki - Neroskulma - Porasa – Vesijako- Padasjoki

4. Route 4: Padasjoki - Vääksy - Maakeski - Nyystölä -Padasjoki

5. Route 5: Padasjoki – Kasiniemi- Torittu- Kaurate- Pajulantie- Kellosalmi- Mainiemi- Padasjoki

6. Route 6: Auttoinen -Kirkkokylä- Autanen

7. Route 7: Virmaila- Kellosalmi- Pajulantie- Kaurate- Arrakoski

8. Route 8: Neroskulma- Ala-Porasa- Porasa- Palsa- Vesijako-Autanen

9. Route 9: Church Village Tour (Laivaranta-Koiravuori-Savikko-Ilmoila-Taulu)

10. Route 10: Maakeski-Nyystölä

11. Route 11: Kasiniemi-Alho -Torittu- Romo

More detailed descriptions of the routes, including driving times, are attached to the invitation to tender, Appendix 1 Transport destinations. Route 4 will only be put out to tender for the semester 2023-2024, after which the route will no longer be run.

It is not allowed to connect routes without the permission of the subscriber. The client determines the direction of travel of the routes according to the needs of the students.

The route is about 13,300 km / year, the route is run every weekday morning, as well as Tue and Fri at 13.20, Mon, Wed and Thu once in the afternoon either at 12.15 or 14.30, depending on the school timetables. There are about 33 transport students on the route.

The route is about 22,000 km / year, the route is run every weekday morning and Tue and Fri at 13.20 and Mon, Wed and Thu at 12.15 and/or 14.30 depending on the school timetables. The transport vehicle must have 12 student places. Afternoon transports may also have other transport destinations than the morning route.

The route is about 24, 000 km / year. The route is run every weekday morning and in the afternoons at 14.10 departure from Vääksy. In addition to this, there is school driving in Padasjoki on Tue and Fri at 13.20 and Mon, Wed and Thu at 12.15 and/or 14.30, depending on the school timetables. There are 12 student places in the transport truck. Afternoon transports may also have other transport destinations than the morning route.
