The aim of the project is to map different countries' management of and experience with the large numbers of refugee arrivals in Europe in 2015-2016 and in 2022-2023, and compare the response of authorities along several dimensions. The project will put particular emphasis on the work on housing and the authorities' adaptations in rules, administrative management, and cooperation with the voluntary sector and private actors in this phase. The mapping is to conclude with learning points for public actors in the immigration and integration field.
