With MIPAAF decree 359553 of 06/08/2021 (assumed at prot. cons. n. 1-10654 of 06/09/2021) and subsequent MEF decree n. 160 of 18/11/2022, the Veronese Reclamation Consortium received funding of € 15,151,000.00 for the realization of the project in question which is embodied in the arrangement of the Sommacampagna adductor channel, irrigation conversion and use for hydroelectric purposes of the existing jump along the canal, in the territories of the municipalities of Sommacampagna and Villafranca di Verona.

Following the transmission of the Decrees invoked above, the undersigned Consortium has drawn up the Determination to contract no. 755 of 12/12/2022 with which the tender procedures were called pursuant to current legislation and, more precisely, art. 35, co. 11 of Legislative Decree 50/2016.

Specifically, the contract covered by this announcement provides for the realization of the works referred to in Lot no. 1 called "Canale Sommacampagna" which summarily provides for the execution of the following works:

• Reconstruction of the coating of the Sommacampagna Adductor Canal in some sections upstream of the homonymous capital;

• Construction of a new hydraulic support and an irrigation pipeline using prefabricated reinforced concrete pipes and relative distribution wells;

• Demolition and reconstruction of the Adduttore Sommacampagna Canal in the homonymous urban section by means of an open rectangular section made with castings in concrete cast on site;

• Demolition and reconstruction of a siphon barrel in loc. Coronini of Villafranca;

• Demolition and reconstruction of a section of the Adduttore Sommacampagna Canal downstream of the homonymous capital by means of an open rectangular section made with castings in concrete cast on site;

• Construction of a reinforced concrete building in loc. Burroni di Sommacampagna within which a hydroelectric plant will be installed (the latter to be built separately);

• Demolition of a section of the Adduttore Sommacampagna Canal downstream of the plant referred to in the previous point and construction of a new GRP pipeline, also underpassing the Tione dei Monti river, until it rejoins the channel in loc. Valbusa.
