Malvern Hills District Council seeks a Building Contractor for a project at Malvern Theatre that includes constructing new facilities and upgrading existing ones to enhance cultural offerings and accessibility.
Appointment of Building Contractor for Levelling Up Project at Malvern Theatre, Grange Road, Malvern.
Malvern Hills District Council is looking to appoint a Building Contractor for Levelling Up Funded Project at Malvern Theatre, Grange Road Malvern.
The project includes an extension and upgrade works to develop Malvern Theatres into a world-class cultural facility. The scheme is comprised off:-
• New studio theatre with retractable bleacher seating.
• New outdoor amphitheatre
• New park level flexible studio
• Upgraded dressing rooms, wardrobes and green room, including accessible dressing room, WCs and showers for both the new studio 2 and existing forum theatre
• Improved accessibility into the building and internally via upgraded Park entrance and lobby
• Upgrades to the existing forum theatre.
Please see the procurement documents for further information. The Council is carrying out a 2 stage procurement. So at this initial stage Bidders are only required to return the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.
The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this procurement exercise.
To gain access to the procurement documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, bidders will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents. Bidders will need to search for the invitation under Malvern Hills District Council and then electronically submit an expression of interest and follow the online instructions to view the procurement documents.
