The district of Steinfurt is putting out to tender the supply of natural gas for its properties for a period of 24 months. The tender includes the supply of climate-neutral natural gas as a full supply contract, including billing of network use, metering point operation and all associated energy management tasks by the bidder. The district of Steinfurt is requesting a horizontal tranche model as part of this tender. A fixed-price model is permitted as an ancillary offer. However, the ancillary offers will only be evaluated if no valuable main offer is received. The tender comprises a total of 25 market locations with 4,851 MWh of natural gas per year for the delivery years 2024 and 2025.
