The objective of this tender is to find one suitable supplier for the delivery and maintenance of IT hardware. The contracting authority wishes to achieve this goal by means of a European tender in accordance with an open procedure, where the 'tender with the best price-quality ratio' is the starting point. This procedure was chosen because the threshold amounts for European tendering were exceeded. With the tender, the contracting authority wishes to contract a tenderer who is able to supply the supply, service and services properly (qualitatively and competitively), in accordance with the requirements stated in the tender documents. The aim is to conclude a single framework agreement for the contracting authority with an initial duration of twelve months with five times an optional extension of twelve months.
The scope of delivery will depend on the individual needs of the schools that will vary per twelve months. There is also no limit for this framework agreement and if legally required in the context of recent case law it has been maximized at EUR 10,000,000 excluding VAT. Child and Education Foundation may also purchase ICT hardware during the period of the framework agreement. Exactly to what extent and when it cannot be said. The tenderer cannot derive any rights from the specified quantity or size in the tender. The numbers mentioned above do form the basis for the assessment. In summary, this tender includes 'IT hardware' including;
- hardware components,
- desktop equipment,
- server equipment,
- network components,
- mobile telephones (OIS / Android),
- any peripheral equipment such as mice, adapters and keyboards.
Firewalls explicitly fall outside the scope. The estimated estimate is 700,000 EUR per twelve months, excluding VAT (average of the last 48 months based on data from Stichting LMC).
