This assignment aims at the appointment of a multidisciplinary team (or temporary association) that takes care of the integral design assignment and supervision of the construction works for the redevelopment of the Sint-Andries site.

The project location concerns an area of about 3,150m², located between the Sint-Andriesplaats and the Prekersstraat in Antwerp. The site includes several buildings and infrastructures adjacent to an inner area and to the surrounding public domain.

Sint-Andries 2.0 must become an innovative, multifunctional and inspiring meeting centre for children, young people and local residents. Its identity starts from the neighbourhood, the demographic and urban evolutions, the associated needs and puts the intended users first. Sint-Andries 2.0 is a spatial redevelopment of an urban site in the heart of the city centre, into a third place, open learning environment and creative presentation space, where maximum efforts are made on cooperation, sustainability and shared use of space.

The assignment of the multidisciplinary team includes drawing up a sketch design, preliminary design, final design, submitting the environmental permit, drawing up a tender file, follow-up of the execution of the construction works, etc.
