NHS Commercial Solutions initiated the tender process for establishing a Framework Agreement to comply with –

…the European Parliament's report calling for the removal of asbestos from all European public buildings by 2028.

The plan is to have in place a Framework Agreement covering:

4 Years (for an initial 2 years with two 12 months optional extension period)

There will be 4 lots in the Framework Agreement. They are:

— Lot 1 — Asbestos Removal,

— Lot 2 — Asbestos Management,

— Lot 3 — Training; and

— Lot 4 — Asbestos removal, management and training.

The plan is to appoint a maximum of 5 suppliers per lot.
