The contract is to procure an infection control software application that will provide a national networked solution across all of the NHS infection prevention and control services in Wales. Authorised personnel within infection prevention and control teams will access a central infection control software application serving all of Wales over the NHS Wales Wide Area Network. Records of all patients with ‘alert’ organisms and conditions will be stored in the software application.
