New construction of daycare center Günzburg - Auweg

The property is surrounded on four sides by public areas and, in addition to the design of a well-functioning day-care centre, contains the possibility of designing an important new path connection to the Danube to shape the townscape for the planning task. The current planning task is intended to provide solutions for the areas on the property designated in the space program. The existing need for childcare places is to be covered by the planning task for U3 and Ü3 children.

For the city of Günzburg, the main focus is on a long-term and sustainable solution for the construction of the new daycare center.

Three kindergarten groups (children from 3 years of age) and one crèche group (children under 3 years of age) are to be cared for in the daycare centre. In total, the daycare center can accommodate a maximum of 90 children in the kindergarten (25 children per group) and in the crèche (15 children per group).

Further usable areas will be built in the course of the construction project for the Auweg neighbourhood meeting.

The kindergarten is to be built in the western part of the property with parcel no. 1118/17 in Günzburg. The property is located on the outskirts of Günzburg between the train station, the Volksfestplatz and the Danube, adjacent to the grounds of the State Garden Show. In the surrounding area, residential and commercial spaces alternate. The area is experiencing a development boost with the State Garden Show and the new residential buildings generate some of the kindergarten places described in this construction project. with the kindergarten, the demand from the new quarter is covered. The entire property with approx. 1,850 m2 is owned by the city

There is a development plan for the area of the planned kindergarten, No. 70.5, see below. Appendix 01 B-Plan. The property is defined by building law with the contents from area MU 1. It should be noted that to the south is the development for the construction sites MU1 and MU2. The building plots in the WA eastern area have already been sold by the city and are being developed by an investor with 300 residential units. Including 111 subsidized apartments.
