The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (in collaboration with a number of key partners and represents) have an ambition to improve the system of support for victims of sexual violence.
Our aspiration is that through a multi-agency partnership approach (OPCC, Victim Support, Local Authorities and NHS) we will develop mechanisms through which victims of sexual violence, regardless of whether they report to the police, will receive a trauma informed, individualised package of support to help them address their trauma, cope, and recover from their experiences.
