County Durham and Darlington NHS FT (CDDFT) require benchmarking tools to enable the Trust to benchmark its performance against local, national and international comparators.

This requirement will be split into 3 separate Lots:

— Lot 1: Benchmarking data which allows the Trust to benchmark its performance on a variety of indicators against local, national and international comparators and against best practice.

— Lot 2: Comprehensive clinical benchmarking package which allows for case-mix adjusted international comparisons.

— Lot 3: Benchmarking studies: the Trust seeks the opportunity for its staff to participate in benchmarking studies with local and national comparators. This function will be particularly valuable with respect to services where national comparator data is not routinely available.

Please Note:

The Trust will use the procurement process to assess and review its benchmarking priorities and to decide which benchmarking services represent value for money. Once the process is complete a recommendation will be made to Executives as to which services should be commissioned. Accordingly, the procurement may result in any combination or none of the services detailed in Lots 1-3 being commissioned.
