All classrooms receive demand-controlled, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery as decentralized ceiling units. These are arranged on the opposite side of the wall on the panel and ensure performance-enhancing indoor air quality. Control is carried out automatically via a CO2 sensor in the instructor's desk area.
The outside air connection is made via weather protection grilles on the facade side. These are integrated flush into the respective outer wall. Each school ventilation unit is provided with a large heat exchanger so that the fresh air drawn in can be pre-tempered inside the unit.
Due to the redesign of the outdoor facilities in the entrance area, mechanical ventilation is being provided for the student toilet, which is now “windowless”, via a compact ventilation unit in the attic. Air is roted via risers within the toilet pretexts. According to MLüar, appropriate fire dampers must be installed here. The ventilation unit has a highly efficient enthalpy heat exchanger, which makes a heating register unnecessary. The device is switched on using MSR technology, which specifies an appropriate release and runtime via presence detectors.
All other rooms without windows for ventilation will be equipped with single-room fans.
