The city of Hamm (client) tenders the concession for the management of the cafeteria and the delivery of lunch in the Galilei-Gymnasium of the city of Hamm throughout Europe. The object of the service concession is to ensure school catering for secondary levels 1 and 2 in the Galilei-Gymnasium, including the management of the cafeteria.
The contractor must deliver two dishes of the same price on the delivery days, one of them as a vegetarian dish (usually ovo-lacto).
Furthermore, a pasta buffet with changing sauces / pestos is offered.
A dish of the day is composed as follows:
a) a protein-rich component such as meat or fish (in the case of vegetarian dish,
to replace them accordingly)
(b) a starch component;
(c) a vegetable component or a side salad or raw food;
(d) a dessert.
Drinking water is always offered free of charge. Drinking water dispensers (provided by the school authority) must be cleaned at the prescribed intervals and supplied with replacement cartridges for the carbonic acid supply at the expense of the manager.
Due to the structural conditions and the furnishings, etc. at the school, the forms of "Cook & Hold" (hot meals) or "Cook & Chill" can be offered.
The snacks offered as part of the cafeteria/kiosk operation make an important contribution to the daily nutrient intake with optimal food selection. It is always to be seen in connection with the midday meal. The specific offer should be based on the requirements for lunch and must be made in consultation with the school. The school and school authorities are entitled to specify the quantities or quantities sold, e.g. of baked goods and confectionery/sweets.
At the request of the school management, additional snacks (wraps, baguettes, fruit, salads, etc.) will be offered. Disposable beverage packaging must be excluded.
